PLC Acquisition Software Licence 24 November 2003 Plasmon Plc Acquires HSM Software Licence Plasmon, the Cambridge based data storage specialist, today announces that it has acquired a software source code licence from Grau Data Storage AG for a total consideration of Euro 1 million. The HSM (Hierarchical Storage Management) software will be incorporated into Plasmon's existing NAS software products and will enable the automatic migration of data from networked attached RAID to Plasmon's UDO libraries. The Euro 1 million total consideration for the source code licence will be satisfied by the issue of 307,935 Plasmon ordinary shares of 5 pence each. The ordinary shares will be issued as fully paid and will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the Company, at which point Plasmon will have 54,568,639 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in issue. Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for the listing of the shares and it is expected that admission will be granted and that trading will commence on 24 November 2003. |
