G-Series for IBM

The G-Series libraries for IBM i5/OS have been certified by IBM for operation in i5/OS and open systems environments. They leverage the strengths of UDO technology and are designed for archival storage applications that require secure, long-term data retention. Typical applications include e-mail archiving, record management, and IBM Content Manager environments.

The libraries are available with storage capacities ranging from 1TB to over 38TB* through the combined product lines of IBM and Alliance Storage Technologies.

IBM also supports the libraries with the Tivoli Storage Manager Interface, which provides data and resource management for open systems requirements.
