True Archival Storage at Your Desktop

Plasmon’s Archive Appliance Express™ (AA Express) was specifically designed to meet the professional archiving needs of small- and medium-sized businesses. It combines the performance and simplicity of network-attached RAID cache with the longevity and authenticity of UDO media. With the AA Express, users can experience the same benefits of long-term archival storage previously available only in larger, more expensive systems.

The AA Express is available in both rackmount and desktop versions. It comes standard with 170GB of RAID cache and one UDO2 drive.

Features and Benefits

Simple to Install and Integrate:  The AA Express is easy-to-use and requires minimal IT support. Since it uses a standard NAS interface, the AA Express simply appears as another drive on your network. And software for storage and media management is already integrated into the system.

Unmatched Record Authenticity: Hardware-based WORM technology means that data cannot be altered or unintentionally destroyed. Your files will always be available when needed, allowing you to easily comply with industry and government regulations.

Environmentally Responsible: UDO technology uses significantly less power and cooling than magnetic-disk archive systems. Since only the most current data resides on spinning disk, the AA Express helps you save money and the environment.

Fast Access: The AA Express’ integrated RAID cache provides fast access to your most recently archived data.

Scalability: As part of Plasmon’s suite of archival solutions, the AA Express can easily be upgraded to a larger UDO Archive Appliance to meet your growing archive requirements.

Low Total Cost of Ownership:  Because your data is permanently archived only once, and not needlessly re-written to other backup systems, capital and operating expenses are significantly reduced.
